COMPANY HISTORY
The incorporation of Rapid Recovery Services in 2005 by president Robert Newman was a natural progression in his already distinguished career as a general contractor and emergency mitigation specialist. During his years working as a Project Manager for large disaster remediation firms in the metropolitan area, Bob Newman learned not only the most effective approaches to disaster remediation but also the finer points of earning a client’s trust and confidence at a very trying time -- whether that client is a busy property manager, an insurer, or an anxious homeowner.
In those years Bob also established a powerful network of colleagues, contacts and experts in the field. To fulfill his vision for RRS, he mined this network to assemble the best integrated emergency mitigation team in the New York area. With the opening of an office and warehouse in Astoria, Queens, the company gained not only a central location to the five boroughs but also the closest operational springboard to Manhattan and therefore the fastest response time – an issue of critical importance to the proper securing and assessment of a property loss site.
Another key part of Bob’s vision was to ensure the delivery of quality services by making RRS into a one-stop shop that provides most of its services on an in-house basis.
